Hi friends.

I’m still here.

Just a bit quiet these days.

It was a hard week. A heartache week, knowing I hurt some people (unintentionally) through THIS post, yet knowing too that I was trying only to be obedient, so I haven’t had many words to say as of late. Just a lot of tearful prayers, and a lot of sleepless nights and wrestling with physical sickness.

But the joy of the Lord is my strength. And I have some incredible friends holding me up and I know I must press forward.

This coming week we’ll hear from some guest posters, giving me time to work on my talks for the Jumping Tandem retreat, as well as a new book project being released August of 2014 (which I’ll tell you about as soon as the contract is complete!).

In the meantime, keep leaning into our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who,
being in very nature[a] God,
    did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
rather, he made himself nothing
    by taking the very nature[b] of a servant,
    being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
    he humbled himself
    by becoming obedient to death—
        even death on a cross! (Philippians 2)
